looking for a "canned" website thing-y

So I google "build your own website", and SO many sites pop up....

Does any one have any experience with any of these, recomendations>?
I am not looking for anything extravagent for right now, something simple ane effective to post a a few geckos for sale, a few care pages and what not. I have afriend doing the photography for me, so the pics will look good, just need some suggestions....

I know I know, why not just build my OWN site, but seriously, I am NOT Pc litterate anymore than what you see here, I am not even sure what a bandwidth is or how "hosting" works, and domain names....Aaaaackkkk. it's just all too much!

I've never really heard of one of those, sorry. I'm sure there's something. Why not hire someone to build you a website? The person could create a database that you log into and update and add content to the areas that he/she's created per your requests.

That's what my dad did for me. He added all the HTML and tabs and areas and whatnot, and created a database where all I need to know is basic HTML. IE <b>text</b> makes the font bold. But, now he's actually upgraded where the database looks like the Word toolbar.
