Looking into breeding

I currently have a Male Albino Leopard Gecko. He's about 2 and a half years old. He is in a 15L terrarium. I work at a Petsmart and I can get a full grown female who has a normal pattern, for about $65, or I can get babies for $25 each. I just don't want to get unlucky and get another male. And I was wondering if anyone had any tips on breeding. I just started looking into it so I really don't have much as far as setup does. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch. (I attached a pic of him, If anyone can tell me the exact type of leo he is I'd be greatly appreciative!)

The female you use should be at least 50 grams and about a year old before breeding her, so a full-grown adult female would be my recommendation. Since your male gecko is a Tremper albino, if you breed him to anything else but another Tremper you will get all normal offspring heterozygous for Tremper. Make sure you quarantine any new gecko for a minimum of 60 days... especially if you will be buying it from the store.

If u breed make sure you have room for the babies, and when the babies hatch do not put all the babies in one cage like they do at Pets Mart or Pet Co.

If you search through the forum and collect everything you find about breeding you'll have a nice body of material to help you educate yourself. Then if you have more specific questions you will get good quality answers. I have just finished my third year of breeding and that is what I did for the year before I got started. I started small (1 male, 2 females) and have learned a lot. It's been a really good experience.
