Hey guys!
As you probably know, i got a male crested gecko back in August..
& he is just about breeding size.. after another month or so, he will be ready!

Well, i went to get a proven female for him last week, and i ended up getting two proven females, and a juvie. 1 of the females is a Dalmatian, she's already got eggs in her, she was with a burgandy male. The other female is just a plain sandy color who was also in with the same burgandy male, she may have eggs in her as well, just not as close to laying as the Dalmatian. The juvie male is a full pinstripe that i may be selling, but, i'm not sure, i may hold into him and grow him up.

Here are some pictures!

I am kind of new to crested gecko breeding, so if someone will, please give me some tips! I breed leopard geckos.. so i know the basics..but theres a lot of controversy (sp) about incubation. Room temp vs. incubator

i breed crested geckos, and trust me its even easier then Leopard geckos, once you get eggs keep them in the 70's i use a Incubator only because it gets to warm in my reptile room in the spring, you will get eggs every month, and the females will keep going and going and going. Lol there the best in a few months you will be posting Crested gecko baby photos ( : good luck

Crested geckos are much easier than leopard geckos. I incubated my crested gecko eggs at room temp with out using an incubator and I have never had a problem.

My dalmatian still hasn't laid eggs, but, she looks like she will anytime.. shes been in the lay box for about an hour now.

I ended up getting the burgundy male crestie that was paired with the two females that i got. I got him yesterday.. here are some crappy pictures, ill get better ones later. :]

I think it might be a bit of a stretch to call the females dalmations or tigers. Certainly both traits are exhibited on the geckos, although faintly and probably not distinctive enough to qualify it as the primary morph.

They could probably both be described most accurately as bicolor at best, with tiger or dalmation traits. For instance, a flame patterned gecko with 10 spots would be still called a flame, but not a dalmation because there is so few spots.

That male really fires up nicely. :main_thumbsup:
