Hey all, i found a lost bird (baby robin) and its siblings around it all were dead except one and it was really cold out so i covered them and waited like 45 min but no mother came so I took some action, i am not holding it in a cardboard box with dry grass, the thing is really happy it has eaten 3 times since i have gotten him. Any advice?

Is there a wildlife care center around your area? I would think that would be your best option. They will rehabilitate the bird and release it back into the wild when it's ready. Try to search for one online.

If you can't take care of it and you can't find a wildlife center, sometimes your vet will know of someone who does their own rehabilitation, specializing in a certain animal. We did that for a baby squirrel once. If the bid is really young, probably just try and keep it extra warm since it'll be used to company. Also, with some animals (not sure about birds) you can mimic a heartbeat with a ticking clock, if you think that would comfort it. My mom has a degree in animal care or the like, so if you need to message me, feel free to and I'll forward your questions to her to see if she can help. She's had to care for ducks before and has saved countless babies and stunned birds from busy streets/sidewalks. Good luck! :)
