Search with a flashlight under everything and in corners, especially in warm places like under the fridge.
Put out a hide and a bowl of mealworms (if your gecko is a mealworm eater)
Keep looking at night when it is likely to move around
Do a search on the forum because a lot of people have asked this question in one form or another.

Of course, this thread can still be useful to other people, SO! The gecko will naturally gravitate to warm or dark places, so under the fridge is a good place, behind things, even in shoes! Shake 'em before you put 'em on, people. Typically they don't travel far, so check the general vicinity of their tank thoroughly before you tear the house apart.

I think lost leo's are normally found near the tank.
