Look in and under stuff, in closets, up high and down low. Could be almost anywhere, even places you wouldn't think it could get. Probably someplace dark.

You probably have better chance of winning the lottery than you do finding a 12 inch Mexican King. Small colubrids can fit in spaces you wouldn't imagine anything being able to fit in.

In the early going, they don't usually move too far. I'd suspect a hiding space close to the point of escape. One thing that I've done with a lost corn snake is tied a food item to a piece of sewing thread, and the other end of the string to something secure enough to hold the snake after it's swallowed the rodent. I actually ended up recovering the corn this way too. Assuming it takes the bait, it will be able to pass the string just fine, so no worries there. I hope your snake's hungry. And good luck!

I lost my baby corn snake back on June 3rd. I set him up in a rack that was new to me and didn't realize he could get out of it. I still haven't sen any sign of him. He's somewhere around 8 or 9 months old and still was eating pinkies when he escaped. I'm starting to think he's just gone. If he hasn't gotten outside or taken advantage of the water left in a few places around the house, he's probably dehydrated by now.
