Lumps behind front arms?

Hey everyone,

I was just a bit concerned, I was looking at my female leo today and I noticed that she had two lumps, one behind each front arm in the armpit area. I heard that leopard geckos can get calcium deposits behind their arms, but that may have been wrong when I heard it. Does anybody know what this could be?

Also I noticed this right after she ate a HUGE meal if that matters.

I was under the impression that those lumps are actually fat deposits. But I'm not sure.

ahhhh those are what many leo owners affectionately refer to as side-boobs lol :main_yes:. they are more of a mineral and vitamin storage than fat, fat is stored more in the tail. they are harmless and most people prefer to have a little boobage on their leos in case something happens where the leo goes off food for any period of time. between a nice plump tail and some good side-boobs a leo has its own mini fridge in case of emergency sickness or health problems. side-boobs are sexay :main_thumbsup:

Those are not really a sign of good health... It is actually a sign that there may be too much of a vit/cal intake... Too much is never a good thing... I know if my leos start to gain those armpit deposites, I cut back on calcuim and D3 intake until the deposites go away...

Most vitamins are water soluable... This means if the body is not using them, they are expelled from the body so there is no build up in the body... The only vitanims that would actually be stored in the body are fat soluable ones like A, D, E, and K... For these vitamins to be stored in deposits means that there are already high amounts being stored in the liver, which is not really a good thing at all...

My opinion is that the "side boobs" should not be there at all...
