lumps under front legs

ive just noticed that my leo has 2 lumps underneath her front legs on her side.
i was giving her some worms and she then lifted one of them up and stretched it out behind her.
what could these be?
my bf said that they were calcium pockets, is that right?

Actually, they're not calcium pockets, they're fat pockets. See, leopard geckos don't get tires around their waist like we do. They get obese armpits. ;-)

Really? Well that explains why they didn't go down when I upped Tiamat's D3 intake. lol

I have heard that they're fat pockets, but most will agree they are calcium pockets.

Sometimes they will get so big that it almost looks uncomfortable on them, so I will reduce their calcium intake, and in return the pockets decrease in size. But no worries, its normal.
