Here's a picture of a 1 day old (well not really, actually about 10 hrs old) Lygodactylus kimhowelli. These geckos max out at about 4" and this is the first time hatching out some myself. Notice the penny comparison in the 2oz solo cup and the orange belly!

neat little gecko...

Just did a google search and adults and pretty cool looking as well.

Now that I think about it some, the introduced med geckos around my apartment (not intro'ed by me) probably have babies bigger than that lol.

Congrats!

They are fun to keep, the eggs and babies are so small!

Thanks everyone for the kind regards. I have several clutches incubating and I expect to have at least 10 more clutches before the year is out.

-Thank you my friend to the North. How are yours doing? Any updates on the offspring?

-Nigel, very few people breed this species (along with the rest of the genus). They go for whatever the breeder wants for them to be honest. I won't be selling mine for less than $50 each baby...

I have eggs incubating in situ from other species of Lygodactylus, so I am hoping to have more success with this genus.
