Hi !!!!! I am new to the leopard gecko world. I did some research on geckos before I decided to buy one. Hence what brought me here. After doing that research, and learning some of the basics about Leopard Geckos, I decided that the best place for me to get a gecko would be from a breeder instead of a large chain store. After doing a quick search I discovered that there were only a couple of breeders located in my area. After checking out some of there websites I discovered that most of them had not updated their sites in a while. So they had nothing listed that was available. So I came to the conclusion that in order to find what I was looking for I would have to use a breeder in another state.
So I again turned to the internet to find a breeder. I contacted 2 of them that had geckos that I was intrested in. Their responses to my emails made me feel as though I was in some way bothering them. I understand that they prob. get 10 emails a day, But I was looking for a more freindly response.
Then I remembered that this site had some breeders listed across the top. Figured Id give it a shot. And I struck gold!!!! After looking through the availables on several I came across www.lizrdgrl.com . I contacted Chrissy about a newborn gecko on her site and she returned my email the next day. As I was reading her email and the 20 others that we have exchanged in the last month I felt more like I was talking with a friend than with a buisness person. Chrissy sent me weekly photos of my girl as she grew bigger and was getting ready for shipping. On the day my girl was do to arrive (yesterday) I have to admit I was a little scared. Not only because of her being shipped here but because I had picked my girl from a photo and not in person.
But my girl arrived exactly when Chrissy told me she would. She was far more beautiful in person than in the photos that Chrissy had sent me.
In closing I just want to say that Chrissy is a great breeder who seems to really understand how to communicate with her customers. And breed beautiful geckos at a VERY reasonable price. She is an ASSET to not only this website but also to the GECKO COMMUNITY as a whole. THANK YOU CHRISSY !!!!!!
