Didn't want to steal Kev's thread, so here's a new one. Can those of you who have crossed your macks with hypos, tangs, albinos or hybinos or any other color morph and have mack hatchlings w/ color post the pic?
I'm real curious how the lot of them are looking-are they white/gray, yellow ting/gray etc? Not only did I end up crossing mack w/ some females where it's going to be hard to determine outcome, but I keep seeing "macks are only black/white hatchlings", but that doesn't go with what I'm seeing now with all the outcrosses being done.
And then if they do have some color how are you determining if it is a mack or not? Thanks.

Marlo, I did indeed hatch a mack tremper that had a very slight yellow cast at birth. I know he's a mack, because I hatched a mack tremper from him X tremper a few weeks ago. That goes against the rule though.

here it is after the first shed..

i think the general concious is, although some show a good amount of colour, they are still born very much clean white, with coloured edging...

my mack albino is a good example, as its a cross with a raptor (tangerine remember) but still is very much white.

her dad is a pretty good example to, as he's just like you'd expect and albino mack to be, but then with a random orange spot lol

I'm crossing my super snow this year with a SHTCT and looking forward to see what I get. 2 eggs in the incubator already.

The pic is not him as a hatchling, but this gecko looked liked a Snow w/ a little yellow upon hatching. He got lighter, as pictured first, then there is a more recent picture below. He is at the very least, a "Pastel", but may be a Snow also. I have hatched a few that had a little bit of yellow in the past. I`ve never sold them as Macks, just in case, as I did not really know. Seems like the mystery Macks are proving out for others, though.(?)

^ Yes, pretty much everything(including Patties) has been crossed with Macks.
