I bred a mack Raptor X Mack raptor.i punched the pairing on the million dollar gecko morph calculator. It came up as the following outcomes.25% raptor,25% super raptor and 50% mack raptor.someone said that i would also get mack snows. The guy that sold them to me said they were mack raptors which i think they are.Is it possible to get mack snows?

No. Since both geckos are Eclipse, EVERY baby will be eclipse. Also since they are both Tremper, EVERY baby will be Tremper. Thus you have Raptors. Then factor in the snow on top of that you get your Mack Raptors and Super Raptors.

If you are not familiar with a lot of the morphs, this s a good site to familiarize yourself with them. Feel free to ask any questions about genetics though because they can be confusing just reading the definition (esp when talking about combining them).

i am familiar with morphs but ppl use the word eclipse in two terms , when the eyes are one complete colour I believe.

Yes and no. Eclipse eyes usually are a solid pigmented eye (black (non-albino) or red (albino)). However, there are snake eyes in which only a portion of the eye will be solid pigmented.

Enigmatic-So if the hatchling comes out snake eyes does that mean the parents are not mack raptors. You said that every baby will come out with eclipse eyes.

Eclipse is a recessive trait. Being that both parents are mack raptors means that all babies show eclipse albino combination, hence the raptor. The eclipse eye just to a certain degree is like a moon. A moon can be full moon, half moon and so on, but it is still a moon. The same goes with the eclipse eye. Snake eyes are even eclipsed genetics. I hope that helps.
