mack snow pastels

okay, someone had posted about mack snow pastels --

how would you know you have one without knowing your gecko's genetics?

The reason I ask, is that my "high yellow het bell" (he was a surprise het bell!) normal looks alot like some of the mack snow pastels that I've seen on websites. His spots seem more "faded" than alot of other normals I've seen, but maybe it's just me. I've had him since he was a hatchling in January 2005 - he looked like a normal hatchling. I guess I'll have to invest in a mack snow gal and breed and see if I come up with anything?

Looking on his patterning and a few web sites I look at, its possible. That also means I might have 1 or 2 females I thought were normals with alot of lavendor might be Mack Snow Pastels.

that just clinches it, have to convince the hubby after I pay off the bell albinos I have on hold I need a mack snow gal!

I am waiting for my eggs for the now possible Mack Snow Pastel female to hatch. Day 55 incubating now( wish they would hurry up already lol) I paired her up with my Hi-Yellow Lavendor male.

whats the advantage of of getting pastel macks? how can you tell they are macks?

Some are white some are yellow/yellowish like Mack Snows. They just have alot of lavendor on them. I will find a pic and send it to you in a pm Edgar.
