Okay I know I show all of my hatchlings. But I can’t help myself. So here are the latest ones from my SSTA x Enigma, het Tremper pair. Two mack tremper, now if they could have only been mack tremper enigmas, like their older brother. Oh well, here they are.

Very cool. I love seeing snow albinos.
Are you using deli cups for each clutch? I keep seeing thatfrom a few breeders, and not to steal your thread, but is it better that way? Other than definately knowing what hatchlings are whos, is it easier/harder to control humidity? What are the pluses/minus of using deli cups?

don't complain, they could have been mack het trempers

Yeah, I thought about that as well. I should just be happy my enigma, is het tremper, and is going to lay 14 eggs this season. :D

Yeah, I use deli cups (16oz). I don’t know if it is a better way, it is just the way I have always done it. I would say the humidity is easy to control. Because all I do is put 6 parts perlite, to 4 parts water, and just open the top up once a week (sometimes I forget and go two or three). I guess the main pluses for me, is they are cheap, I know who laid what so I can keep detailed records, and since they are cheap I just write all the info I need on the lid, and then when the clutch hatches, I just throw everything away, after everything is recorded. I think I paid $45 for 250 just a while ago.
