I'm just grabbing a quick second to say hi! Cadence has been keeping my hands really, really full! I have a HUGE amount of respect for all the moms out there who made it through 2 weeks without loosing their mind! I've been having post-partum depression problems, have been EXTREMELY sleep deprived, just developed mastitis, and stink to high heaven because finding time for a shower is nearly impossible! I'm just waiting for next feeding time so I can get my smelly rear-end in the shower ASAP. YUCK!

I'll have to post new pictures soon - she's 2 weeks old today!!

She FINALLY has started to develop something that resembles a sleeping pattern 2 days ago. For the first time since she came home I was able to sleep in my own bed! Thank god...I thought I would be on the couch forever!

Time to grab some food while I still can.

PS: Marcia - I'll write you soon!

Hang in there Shanti-believe it or not, I actually miss those first 6 weeks:) Mastisis-yuck, keep with the warm compresses and check out kellymom.com as well as your local lll group. Best time for a shower-if your dh can hold her for 10-15min grab it and go. So glad you are finally home with her. Oh, I used to put Brandon in his vibrating chair on the bathroom floor while I took a shower-worked great for me.

Big (((hugs))) from The Letkey Family!! We can't wait to see her.

P.S.
I can only pretend to understand a small portion of what women who have given birth go through. You are all amazing in my eyes. :main_yes: :main_thumbsup:

Ahhh the joys of breastmilk... The day I was due to leave the hospital, I was so engorged the lactation consultant looked at me, looked at my chest, and said "What are you going home with those for?" :laugh4: They almost didn't let me out!

PPD is no fun at ALL... sleep as much as possible and get as much help as you can, and don't worry because you're an AWESOME mom. Showering? As soon as my munchkin would go to sleep I'd set him up either in his carseat or on a nice comfy blanket on the bathroom floor, and voila! Clean mommy with no worries! Thinking of you doll, we all know how hard the first few weeks are!
