I just wanted to update you guys on Khayman. He is doing great:main_thumbsup: . He got his preasure wrap off Saturday morning and it looked good. No swelling or redness around the area. He is eating like a little mad man. He has gone from 38 grams ( the day we got him and with his nasty tail) to 47 grams ( even without a tail!!!!). His 2 female tank mates that we got along with him are doing well also. Their previous owner did tell us that Khayman and one of the females had mated the day before we got them. He had forgot to tell us that so I have to start preparing early for eggs. I am trying to get her ( Makara) up to a better weight. She was only 28 grams when we got her and she was up to 41 at Fridays weigh. Can anyone tell me about how many days it takes from mating to laying.....if the mating was succesful? I have been getting items that we would need for the upcoming breeding season but I hadn't planned on needing an incubator until January so I have to get working on one of those ASAP. I told my husband that this new information is making me a nervous wreck even though I have been reading posts and books on breeding since the summer.

:D We have a stub growing!!!!!. I was so happy when I noticed yesterday that Khayman was starting to get a point on the end of his tail and today it was bigger. How long does it take to get big?

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you and Khayman!! My Lemsip's tail still look the same as 2 weeks ago, I guess he won't get a new tail...

Great! It sounds like Khayman will be getting a new tail! Dedending on his overall health, it should take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for it to completely regenerate.
