Mother Nature did something really cool when she made different species of animals. If they do not intergrade in nature, they usually will not intergrade in captivity. A Panther Gecko (Paroedura pictus) comes from the island off the coast of Africa, Madagascar. The Crocodile Gecko (Tarentola mauritanica) originates from the island of New Zealand. They have absolutely no chance of ever meeting in the wild, so I suspect there is no chance they could ever breed and produce any offspring.

So the answer to your question is, "NO".

Even for some species that can cross breed and successfully produce young, they are most often sterile, so it's a dead end. Why waste an animal like that just to possibly produce inferior offspring?

The Crocodile Gecko (Tarentola mauritanica) originates from the island of New Zealand.

actually they are a mediterranean species, native to the western portion of "the med" and North Africa and they are introduced into the US and Asia.

i have herd of a chahoua and a crested breeding it was a sterile gecko but i do have to admit it did look hella cool.
