Male not breeding

My female is ovulating right now and she still wont let the male breed with her. I separated them for a couple days and then put them back together (the male into the females tank) and the male tried to breed and the female just wagged her tail furiously. So i separated them for another couple days and still nothing. I paired them up at night because i have heard that it is better which makes sense because they are active at night. I have even tried to put them into a neutral area to see if that would work and it didnt. Any help would be much appreciated

its possible the female has already produced eggs and wont let the male breed until after she lays.

they just bred!!!! or wat ever u wanna call it. I put the male into the females cage for the third night in a row and then seen the male licking himself and the female right by him so i think that they just copulated (or at least that is what i think that you call it).

congrats, sometimes the female will deny the male afew times, id just mine together for 2 or 3 days and he gets the deed done sooner or later.
