Ok, I think Im going nuts, I have never been good at sexing leos but I thought I was getting better. I might be having a little bit of paranoia because my "female" RAPTOR is a male and now Im not entirely sure if this is male or female. Maybe if you guys could help me out I can figure out this sexing thing. I purchased this gecko off of a breeder friend as a female. I totally trust him but I dont trust my eyes and I want to know if im seeing things!!!

I think I am seing pores. It takes a while before males start secreating anything fron their pores, so they are hard to see at first. Can you see the scales that make up the "v"? both males and femles have scales in that pettern, but what makes them pores is if in the center of the scales there is a dot, that is the actual pore. It is hard to make them out, but I belive I see them in the picture. Could you post the weight?

I hope this pic is better, I was able to magnify it on my computer to the piont where I could see pores. Photobucket makes the image smaller, and I couldnt figure out how to capture the magnification. Any way take a look and let me know!!

I am still sticking with male, some females have "pores" that are'nt really functioning, but are there beacuse they were incubated at male temperatures. I suppose that could be the case, but the hemipenal bulges are even more convincing.

Do you mind if I edit a picture of yours, and draw arrows to the pores I am seeing? and then I would post it for other members, and youreslf, to see...
