MALE OR FEMALE?!?!?!?

i bought it as a temp sex male, and i know thats not 100% but he will be 7 months old in 3 days, and today when i weighed him he was 44g. i was curious what would happen if i put him with a female, and he showed NOOOO intrest at all. i acted like she wasint there. that was only a test trial, i wasnt trying to breed him just yet. normally i can tell males from females at a really young age, but this one just has me at a loss.

Well, I just happened to have a clear picture of a male at 44 grams! We had kind of the same thing happen not too long ago and I spent a day taking pictures to compare, lol. A lot of females look really bulgey and if you don;t have a similar size male to compare it too it may be a little confusing.

At 44g you can definitely tell if it's a male of not -

Even at 36g it's pretty easy to see -

Female at 42g - (no noticeable pores)

yeah, thanks guys, thats what i thought, but i was just hoping it was a boy. now i gadda get another one. that really stinks. mel, the pics are what all my other males look like, so i was just kinda hoping it was a male that just wasnt quite developed yet. it just through me for a loop cause like i said she was sapposto be a male, o well, crap happens
