They have amazing personalities are are very active. They need a good varied diet. What substrate is it on now? If it's an adult millet is the best thing. It's super easy to clean, digests, and conducts heat well.

where I work we sell it as bulk parakeet seed but it is actually millet seed I believe.
We house our uros on it, including our baby malis :)
They can eat the seed and its easily digestable.
Give them collard greens and a mix of dried lentils.
Nothing too moist, too much moisture can kill them.
Need a very dry climate and hot. Otherwise they have trouble shedding.

They do the occasional 20-30 minute bath. I do it once every week or so. Mine eat dandelions, endive, bok choy, and green beans with the occasional hibiscus.
