Can u handale a mali or is that not recommended?

It can vary per individual, but most Uromastyx tolerate handling without issue.

I use to breed mali's and all mine liked to be handled.

not sure if they are any different in temperament, but my niger uro actually comes to the glass when im in there and paws at it. seems like he likes to be held.

My male adores being handled and the female will occasionally ask to come out. They have absolutely the best personalities. Mine are adults and so they're pretty rugged so even my little cousins can handle them with no issue, Bonnie sits nicely and is pretty content to hang out in their laps.
