jessica went to breed and she got that love bite at her tail and she went crazy she was trying to get away and biting my male hard and he would not lett go. he is ripping her back and forth with his moth. i had to rip his moth off and when i checked jessica out her tail was riped a little. now her base of her tail is bleeding after a shed and her tail has a layer of skin gone. when you are breeding be carful this was my first experience with a non receptive breeding. i put Rebecca in the next day and she went to bite him and i got worried but she just turned the other why and bred, she has mated 3 times and that should be good for a successful breeding. so just keep in mind of your females wen they are breeding.

allot of time skin is broken. it just comes with breeding. if they are killing each other thats another thing.
if you get fertile eggs from the first clutch, your female should continue to lay without having to put the male male in between laying eggs. she was non receptive because she is already gravid or sounds like it

she just laid generally it is around two weeks before she lays again. also since she is a first time breeding female she may only give you one or two eggs the first season.
