Bright oranges and yellows are VERY hard to accurately depict in photos. We've tried various settings and backgrounds and it's tough to get them just right. Mandarin in person, in a daylit door or window is blinding orange.

We're hatching out several of his babies now so we are hopeful they will look like him in a couple months....

We have several of Mandarin's eggs cooking now, including Tangs, Bandits, and Designers. We've already hatched out some of his male Tangs, and today got our first Mandarin Designer, which is stunning! We paired him to Violet, a huge Lavender Banded female...see our collection page for a pic of her. I'm really excited about those designers.
