Why does my gecko have white flaky spots on top of his scales? It doesnt seem as if he is shedding or about to shed. It is starting to worry me. Any suggestions?

I find that sometimes those flaky spots occur well before shedding and eventually go away when they shed.

Welcome to the forum! Any updates on how your gecko has gone through his shed?

He turned solid white for one day and I misted his skin and the next morning he was done shedding and back to his normal self
