Can leos incubate their own eggs?

I'm just wondering if they can do what my snakes do when they lay or do they absolutely need to go into an incubator this time (my incubator crapped out on me)?

Putting them in the incubator is the best possible senerio. In the wild the females pretty much lay, poss. guard for a short period of time, then leave. Now i have heard of breeders missing eggs and later of having them hatch in the cage. But the best bet is to incubate artifically.

Agreed. In nature they would not stay with the eggs like snakes do. They may actually stomp on them and end up killing them if kept in the humid hide.

Agreed. They tend to get stepped on and rolled around and such when left in the cage. Plus, the humidity and temp is not as contant and you won't have as much control over it...Incubators are always the way to go with leos.
