Matoatoa brevipes

I got a Matoatoa brevipes, also known as a Malagasy salamander gecko, today. These geckos are very small and rare. There is only one breeder in the world.

Thats very cool, whats the set up like for that kind of gecko?

I have him/her in a large kritter keeper with bamboo, leaf litter, coconut husk/ sand mix, and cork bark. They are small geckos right now he/she is only 1 gram. I plan on misting them very lightly at night, they don't like humid.

I got the Matoatoa from Jon Boone. I also got a pair of Ebenavia inunguis about a month ago from him. I can post pics of the Ebenavia if you want.

can see why the call them salamander geckos, they look almost exactly like the smaller speices of salamanders.
