ok bought this female like a week ago and i do know how to breed animals and incubate them , but should I do anything about it to prevent complications. Oh and she is not skinny she is just still young and has a cut tail so that could add to that too. I will try to add a pic of the belly but it probably wont be much good because i am doing both things at the same time. well thanks oh and it wasn't me who made her get pregnant i bought her bloated like that so not my fault:(

ok heres a pic of what i was talking about! I know its hard to concentrate on the gecko due to the gigantic hand blinding you but that is the best i could do.you could see white on the belly and she looks fat in the belly and she is also very wide so i don't know if its fat or eggs hopefully i have a diabetic gecko than a pregnant gecko.

Looks more like a well fed gecko to me, than a pregnant gecko. To do belly images try natural light from a window or strond overhead light source and use no flash. The flash washes out the belly detail.

a 35 gram female should not be bred. wait til they are a minimum of 50 grams before breeding them. 35 grams is way way way too small. her getting gravid could kill her (many different reasons why)

see robin it wasn't my fault and obviously i know it dangerous because i made a post about saying what should i do and i also know how to breed them so i wouldn't have a problem with that to so I knew. you probably didn't catch it with all those posts that came after it?

If you really want help, how about you stop giving so crappy little attitude to all the respected members on this site. This isn't the first time anyone has said anything to you.

Im not trying to get in the middle of this but the last sentence he wrote doesnt sound sarcastic to me, it sounds like he was trying to ask if Robin could have possibly missed the post where he said that he didnt try to breed her, he got her like that.

I would suggest that you start trying to get your gecko fattened up some before she lays. We recently aquired a 34 gram female that had been bred before we rescued her. As soon as I was told that she may be gravid, I started keeping food in her tank 24/7. I made sure I gave her planty of calcium and extra herpavit. She laid 2 eggs yesterday and so far so good. She was right back to gulping down those mealies this morning. You can't do anything about what was done before you got her all you can do is everything you can to try and get her to a little healthier weight now. Best wishes.
