I would hardly call a male breeding with a female a violation. The only violation I can tell from your posts is that they were allowed to breed.

Oh i do agree with you on that if it was him and not from the pet store, the only time they were together was when i had temp problems with his tank and had to put him in with them for a couple of days. this was not planned by any means at all!! I dont want anyone to think that! Wish it was possibly to prove it wasnt him but i am not sure like i said before she was housed with a male at the store also.

Hopefully she'll reabsorb the eggs. In the future, remember that Leos can go for days in low temperatures. There's really no reason to have to put one in another's tank.

Out of curiosity, if she does indeed lay do you have an incubator (and other necessary supplies for the hatchlings) ready?

Would it be possible for you to post pictures of her stomach?

I'm sure after she lays you'll be able to figure things out a bit more. What really matters though for the time being is her health and weight.

How old is she and how much does she weigh?

As for the appearance of her hatchlings... (if her eggs are indeed fertile)...

Tang x Tremper albino hatchlings that I have seen really just look close to ordinary tangs. A /few/ I have seen get reduced spotting and paler in color, but other then that, no major differences from an average tang. Then again, it really depends on the parents. Since you got the parents from a store there is really no set way to determine what they will look like.

Also, are you housing the two females in one tank together? If so, then it might be wise to check out your normal female as well.

Good luck!

It really looks like you're doing all you can for her. If you got her when she was already gravid, then it isn't your fault. Besides, people do make mistakes sometimes. What matters is that you are taking responsibility for her no matter what happened, which you are. :)

Really, I wish you the best of luck with her and those eggies.

Good luck with her. Hope everything goes alright! Just for some info, it wasnt the pet store that she was bred at, but the time when you put the male with her. An average lay date would be 15 days. Since you said you have ahd her for 3 weeks, she would have layed already.
