I recently moved my Leopard Gecko from ReptiCarpet to Tile. This was about 5 weeks ago. Recently, he shed and had really dry skin as the result of me making a mistake and not keeping him moist much. So I sprayed the moss in his tank and bam he sheds, no problem. But now he is having stools with a liquid substance surrounding them... so my first thought is diarrhea. I don't know any local vets that treat reptiles so I'm hoping you guys can provide some homemade remedies for this? Or any other thoughts of what might be wrong. I've kept him on his usual diet of mealworms and have supplied calcium/ect supplement next to his bowl so he can go get it whenever he wants.

If the stools are well-formed but there's liquid around them, this is normal. You may not have noticed with the carpet because the liquid would have soaked in and it doesn't happen all the time. If the brown part is also runny and stinky then you will need to take a fecal sample to a vet.

Thanks.

The feces is normally formed just with liquid as you said... but it really stinks. I'm thinking its the moss though since it didn't start stinking until I added the moss in. So I will try to find a solution to this as best I can without upsetting my gecko too much.
