Well today I went out to adopt/rescue two geckos.
http://s421.photobucket.com/albums/pp294/sneeky-edwin/
the first three are the gecko with the MBD the last two are my current pet Snow.
anyway with help noticed that one of the leos I was getting (now have) has MBD.

I have been looking into MBD and how to treat and reverse it but they all show adults with MBD not hatchlings which is what thus little guy is. So I am planning on going to the pet-store
and any pharmacy to buy anything I might need. Sadly this guy's in shed and apparently has been so for a few days.

My questions are:
What do I need to buy for this guy?
Should I risk taking him to the vet in the next few days?
Should I help him shed?

I would place him in a deli cup with warm damp paper towels, that should help him get his own skin off.

agreed you need to help him get off that shed by soaking him for a bit. other wise his toes will get constricted and fall off.
he dose need to see a vet to confirm MBD other wise you could do more harm then good

+1 to Katie and sausage. I agree with them, I would take them to the vet. Not only to confirm MBD, but they are rescues, so you have no idea what kind of parasite load they could be carrying or anything.

Yeah I am taking them to the vet Friday after school.
The sad thing is these guys came from a breeder who claims they were born 5/29/12.
By the pictures, would you say that's a 3 month old gecko? His clutch-mate is slightly bigger.

The little guy shed completely yesterday, and also ate some dusted mealworms. Also noticed he's not a great hunter and can barely hang on to food.

The other gecko ate 20 pheonix worms the day I got him but regugitated 3 since he over ate.
(I fed the small pheonix worms so it took alot to get him full). But since then is eating like a champ every night.
