I just started my colony and
I got my first 9 larvea and was wondering if they should be in any kind of oats or anything like the rest of the meal worms are?
If the beetles fall on there backs, can they die, I got a shipment of the beetles today and noticed that a few of them keep going on there backs and stay there. They dont seem to care to turn back over.
Is room temp. okay for the colony or should they be heated some how?
And how many mealworms do you feed a day to your geckos, I ordered some more to get going but am wondering how long it takes to get the actual colony going to produce enough at all times.
And do you try to feed the smaller meal worms or the larger ones, because I was told that we wanna try and keep the bigger ones for breeding, is that true?
Sorry for so many questions just trying to get started in the right direction, and I figured if anyone could help me it would be you guys.
