Meal worm questions from newbie.

A few questions on Meal worms...What do you gut load them with? Can you use the stuff the for gut loading crickets?

How many would you expect a gnice sized gecko to eat a day? What's the best way to store them>? and How long do they last?
Mainly want to offer to a timid fattail but also as a treat for leopards unless they like em enough to switch over.

Can you use the stuff the for gut loading crickets?
I would personally use carrots, apples, oranges, bananas and (chicken mash or bran wheat or oatmeal(chopped up in a blender)

How many would you expect a gnice sized gecko to eat a day?
12-15 every three days

What's the best way to store them>?
In a cool place such as a fridge or a cool spot in the house. Take them out of the cool area and gut load them 24 hours before feeding.

and How long do they last?
This depends on the size they are when you get them and the temps you keep them at.

There are a lot of owners/breeders that feed mealworms as a staple diet to fat tails and leopard geckos.
