Mealie smell?

I'm looking at getting a leo in the next couple weeks.. Just wondering, keeping the mealies out or in the fridge, how bad is the smell? Which way would you recommend them being stored? I won't be breeding them, I'm fine with buying them once a week or two weeks or whatever the case may be..

They shouldn't smell if you're just using that many. Personally I don't like storing them in the fridge --I found I had a higher death rate. I keep mine in plastic "faunaria" which come in all sizes and can be bought at most pet stores. It is good to buy a better gutload for them because what they come in from the pet store isn't that nutritious.

They really shouldn't smell unless there are a lot of dead corpses' in there.
