just a couple questions that i dont know the answers to..

1. ive heard that mealies have more calcium than crickets, therefore do not need to be dusted. is this true or should i be dusting the mealies also?

2. is it bad to not feed my leos crickets? mugen seems to like the mealies better, and bella will eat them SOMETIMES (shes sick), compared to crickets, which kind of seem to disgust her.

3. is there a reason my leos arent eating the calcium out of the calcium dish? i have a gel-type red calcium called ReptiCal and it never seems to disappear the slightest bit.

any answers/advice would be very helpful! thanks alot :D

1. I'm not up on the latest nutritional analysis, but, yes, you should dust your mealies with calcium

2. In general, it's nice to feed leos a variety of diet, but they have their own tastes. A mealworm staple is fine in my experience and opinion, though some may differ

3. There is great difference opinion about that bowl of calcium, ranging from "take it out, they'll overdose" to "they know how much they need". I have done it both ways. Don't worry if they don't seem to be using it. Either they are and you can't tell, or they don't want it.
