Would it be OK if I leave my mealies outside if the temperature range is 50-90 (my mom doesn't want them inside)?
And if I use mealies for my Leos, do I need to buy crickets (it would be awesome to never buy anything)?
Thanks, Sam

You can keep mealworms outside as long as you provide proper housing, food ,ect.
I think mealworms are best feeding insects. They are cheap, easy to keep, and they don't escape. Crickets are good but not necessary.
Remember to power feed your mealworms before use them, and dust them with multi-vitamins or Calcium powder before use them.

You can keep them in a critter keeper as long as it is big enough. House them on just plain non-cooked oat-meal and put a patato fourth in their, and then change the potato fourth every two day cause they mold quickly. If you do this thsy will live alot longer.
