Mealies

Thanks to everyone's suggestions on how to get your leo to eat mealies, I finally got mine to eat 3 today. I used tweezers to show them to him up close and then put them on the ground in front of him. He looked interested almost immediately and got into his little hunting position. He pushed the mealie around his tank with his nose for a good 4 minutes, licked it, and then finally ate it. Now if only I can get him to eat them more often so I don't need as many crickets in the house.

I CANT tong feed my leo's. They choose to eat whenever the heck they want, in the middle of the day, right before sunrise, when you blink and suddenly the heads int he bowl, all the time. Fat little lizzies >>.

I just can't get him to go to the mealie dish by himself. I don't want to have to always do it this way. I hope he eventually learns where I am getting them from and goes to them himself.

I personally feed mine one by one with tweezers or just drop them in the tanks I like to watch em eat
