Mealies!!

I have finally successfully bred mealies! I have a tub full of them and I only had 4 beatles!! I had no idea anything was in there until I looked today and saw the oats moving around. I moved the oats around and there they were! Woo! I just had to share.

Awesome! I felt the same elation when I discovered baby mealies for the first time. So exciting to make your own food!

I was excited too when my firt mealies appeared. Now I'm just waiting for them to get a little bigger to start feeding.

i havent even gotten beetles yet but i do have 2 aliens it hasnt even been two weeks though so i still have to wait

I started breeding mealworms in April. I know have 3 tubs with baby mealies and beetles breeding more. The first batch of mealie babies are just about feeding size or very close to it. my first round of beetles is just starting todie off so I have started a second round of beetles n a new tub.

It is an awesome feeling knowing u are raising ur own food for your pets I have thousands now and hope to never have to go to the petstore for mealies again!
