mealworm breeding quetion

hey guys we have a colony of mealworms. we remove the beetles from the egg laying tub after a couple weeks because ive read online that the beetles eat the babys. my quetion is how long do you keep the beetles in the egg laying tub before remoing the beetles.

I rotate my beetles into another "egg" bin every 3 weeks. They wont eat eggs or worms as long as you provide plenty of fresh food for them. I rotate so I don't have an over crowded bin.

I just leave them all in the same bin -- but I'm thinking that maybe I should start taking them out, lol -- like mentioned above my bin is getting stuffed with beetles fast!
