Mealworm dusting question

Hey all, quick question- is it better to dust the mealworms and then place them in the bowl, or can I put them in the bowl with some calcium dust? Also, is it better to fridge them and then dust, or would keeping them at room temperature with some fruit reduce the amount of dusting required?

I just put them in a dish with some of the dust. keeping them at room temp with fruit will let them grow faster but you will still have to dust.

In my experience the dust doesn't stay on them well. I leave calcium in a dish in my tubs.

I always dust mine and put extra calcium in the food dish.

I don't actually dust my mealworms since they don't stay dusted very long. I have a dish of powder in the tank but I when I dust my crickets I dump the crickets into the mealworm dish so some powder does get on them as well.
