Every petstore that I go to say they don't have mealworms. I live in the Philadelphia area. The petstore workers say that their has been a problem with the company that is shipping mealworms to them. Is anyone having the same problem with their mealworm shortage. Right now I'm feeding my leopard gecko superworms, but I hate them. They smell >.< A LOT

Well, I never buy my feeders locally (except in dier emergency), but I think all the online vendors are selling them with only a few exceptions.

I just got 1000 from NY Worms, no prob.

(most) online stores have had them available for months. The stores around us just started carrying them again, so i think they are coming back to stores.

Calven you should really try getting them online. nyworms.com is a great place to get them. You are only gonna pay 15 or 16 for a 1000 shipped. Thats alot less that if you got them from the store. Plus you can throw them in the fridge and just pull them out a day or two before you need to use them. Just make sure you gutload them.

Several months ago there was a mealworm shortage. Currently, there is a minor mealworm shortage because the mealworms have not grown to sufficent size to put them on the market.

You have to look around or raise them yourself.
