Mealworm Suppliers

Where do you get your mealworms? I need 40k-60k a month plus crickets (I have a great Cricket supplier here in FL) but am starting to have a hard time getting mealworms. I usually order from Armstrong and get a decent price. The last shipment were all dead. They did re-ship, but said they will not guarantee live arrival to Florida starting June 1st. Any ideas?

When shipping live insects I think you're bound to have problems once in awhile, and we've had our issues with them, but they always make it right and fast. They ship to PA year round with live arrival and we get what I like to call the extreme 4 seasons. including an insanely cold winter and a horribly hot summer.

NYWorms.com, I've only ever had 1 problem with them and that was over this holiday weekend the mealies chewed threw the bag and escaped while sitting in the post office... That was yesterday and they sent me out a completely new order today... no questions asked.

Larry,

We are only about an hour away from you so I hope you take our advice. sunshinemealworms.com are awesome. They have good bulk deals, will help you with saver shipping, and they come in bags with newspaper... not boxes (makes it a lot easier.) We have been ordering through them for about 7 months now and never one problem. They have great customer service when you call as well. All in all they have been the best out of grubco, nyworms, wormman, and lucky lure. And yes we have tried them all. Hey how are the geckos doing? And got any nice ones we would want? LOL. See you in Daytona.

I 100% agree with Sunshine Mealworms, that is who I use. In my 4 orders, I have never experienced any issues.

Thanks!

The geckos I got from you are doing great! We have hatched some really sweet animals this year. Just waiting for them to mature before we put them up. I'm also buying a new lens for my camera so I can take great pictures.

I just used reptiliandelights.com. They shipped 1,000 mealies for $12 flat. Sent it USPO priority. They were shipped in a cloth bag with newspaper. They look great.

I order from Armstrong and Premium crickets... They are both in Georgia so it takes less than a day to get to my house. I'd suggest finding a feeder site that is located in or near your state.

I order from reptiliandelight.com Rich is awesome! I get 5k sent to me automaticly bi-weekly. He just shoots me over a bill threw paypal. Dont have to worry about ordering them or anything, they show up automaticly:) You can deside how many you want, if you want them weekly, bi-weekly, monthly... And Id also like to add my order of 5k only runs me $29 shipped. His 5k looks like it would be around 6-7k from anywhere else.

I have used ReptileFood.com for a while and never had a problem until last weeks order... However, all it took was a quick phone call and the correct order was shipped out and recieved the next day free of charge.

I have always ordered from armstongs BUT after looking at sunshine I might have to try them. I usually get 20,00 at a time and they have armstrong beat depending on what thier shipping is.

Rich at reptilian delights gutloads his orders before shipping them, so you can feed plump , lively mealworms right from the box! A few orders from various other suppliers came in flat, hungry and lathargic.
He is building his colonies back up right now to meet demand and has tons of roaches too if anyone needs them.

I get 5k orders too now(was getting 3k)
