Mealworms breeder recommendations

I suggest buying 1000 and making your own mealworm farm and saving money in the long run. Not too hard to farm so I hear.

I bet you'll get beetles whether you try or not! Unless you go through and squish the pupae :p They're not so bad anyhow - just a little quicker than the worms. If you just leave them alone you'll have more in no time. Definitely enough to feed a few geckos :)

Do you think I should use the 3 tier system like I've seen on YouTube or just place the pupae and beetle in a different tank?

When I was feeding a single gecko I just left them all together. The beetles probably destroyed some of the pupae and larvae but it wasn't worth my time to move them and without moving I had more than enough to feed him and I probably could have fed a couple more geckos as well.

When the substrate started to get dirty I moved active beetles to a clean box and moved and fed my gecko with the larvae in the old box until they were as close to gone as I could get them.
