Can i just take the worms out of the box and feed them too my leopard gecko. Do i have to do anything to them before i feed him/her besides powder them?

Also in the mealworms box there is like this sawdust looking stuff. Can i take this all out like with a filter and just keep the meal worms or will they die?

The mealworms need to eat something or they won't be nutritious for the geckos. They will eventually die without food, but they last quite awhile. The sawdust stuff is hopefully bran and hopefully not sawdust. Here's your best bet: get some rolled oats and multigrain (unsweetened, if possible) cereal. Put it through the blender or the food processor to powder it. Put the powder in a container. Pick the mealworms out of the bran (or whatever it is) and put them in the powder. Thrown in some vegetable parings for moisture and you will end up with well-nourished mealworms that you can easily sift out of the powder (which is their food) with a strainer.

Wow... I think I just learned something from Aliza.... had no clue to do all that to them. I have just been putting them in with full oats... not mashed up or anything... learn something new everyday.

a good gutload is always suggested 24 hrs prior to feeding the insects to your gecko! i grind up dry catfood, oats, and kelp help to give to my feeders! really helps with adding weight and bringing in nutrients to the leos
