These are my new cresties that I got from Dragontown Reptiles.
They ALL fire up red, but only Ummagumma was fired up in these shots.

They were jumpy as hell, so I only had them out for a minute.
This is Meddle:

This is Ummagumma:

This is Hunky Dory. I'm still learning how to tell these guys apart, but I *believe* Hunky Dory is the one that fires up solid red. The others fire up red flame.
S/he's obviously not fired up in these shots, though.

Nice critters. LOVE the Pink Floyd references!

Thank you!
I was going through a Pink Floyd kick when I came up with their names.
And for Hunky Dory, well, I'm a pretty big David Bowie fan as well, and since I'm not sure of the genders of these guys, Aladdin Sane will have to be saved for a for sure male.:D

That's so funny! Lately dad and I have been putting in Pink Floyd's The Wall dvd when we clean cages. I'll have to tell him about UmmaGumma :)

All of those pictures are great, but the first and last shots are perfect. The last shot in particular is just neat as can be. We don't think of cresties as sitting on the floor often, but the shot is still cute as can be. I'm amazed at the clarity of your pictures. What camera/lens are you using and how do you set up these shots?

I MIGHT keep the name "Piper" on hand for any future geckos.
BUT, I know, like, 994983 dogs named Piper, and the name "Piper" has sort of been ruined for me by that silly show "Charmed".

Thanks for the compliments!

I use a Nikon D300 camera and a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens for my gecko shots.
I'm trying to sell a lens now to fund the Tamron 90mm macro lens.
:D
