Anyone know what the ratio is between medium size mealworms to the giant size mealworms. I feed my gecko about 15 medium size mealworms every other day. If I were to switch to the giant mealworms how many would equal 15 mediums. About 5 of the giants?

If by giant mealworms, you mean those injected with hormones to stop their pupating, then you don't want those. Small, medium, and large are for regular mealworms without hormones. If when mealworms seem too small for your leopard geckos, try superworms. Superworms are not anything like mealworms, and they are a lot bigger.

I just read that superworms are 2 inches long. How many medium mealworms equal one superworm? No problems giving my gecko superworms?

I don't know how many equals it, but 2 superworms usually satisfy my leopard geckos just fine per day. Every once in awhile one will eat 3, but usually by the 3rd one, I lower it with a tong and they just look away. So you can get a good feeling on how much your leo will eat based on their reaction rather than measurement.

You can find smaller superworms, like the medium sized ones. They are not full grown superworms, but even medium sized is still larger than large mealworms. If you think your leopard gecko can take on superworms, he'll probably eat a couple per day.

Superworms are perfectly fine, no problems at all. They are known to reach around to bite, so I usually just pinch their head before giving them to my leopard geckos. But instinctively, I've watched my leopard geckos go for their heads first, so it's like they know to kill it.

I was just reading up on superworms. I like the fact that they don't have to be refrigerated. I still have a few hundred mealworms left and when they run out I may try the superworms. Thanks.
