Meet Bert and Ernie

I'm new to the forums and wanted to introduce my two leopard geckos. The normal is Ernie, and he is 7 months old now. The albino is Bert. This is an old picture of him from back in November. He is a couple of months short of two years old. He's a big boy!!

Thank you. Yes they are pretty big. Bert is almost 2 years old and 11 inches long, weight is 128 grams. Ernie is still young, just hitting 7 months old but he is already 70 grams. He will not be as big as Bert though. Ernie has recently slowed down on his eating a lot so his growth is slowing. Bert was still eating like crazy at 70 grams.

How long have you had them?

I've had them since they were babies. I used to both keep and breed leo's about 15 years ago. When I decided to get out of breeding I rehomed everyone. A couple of years ago I was thinking about how much I missed keeping these guys....they will always be one of my favorite herps....so I got Bert just as a pet. Then an acquaintance of mine had some eggs hatch this past fall, and along came Bert.

Bert and Ernie are great! Ernie is still growing, albeit slowly now. And Bert is still a huge leo!!
