I was in a pet store today, and saw this little girl and just HAD to pick her up! She is so dark in person, its incredible! I hope she stays this dark or gets even darker as she gets bigger! And she was only $30! She appears to have quite the nice looking carrottail coming in, and there is even orange on the regrown part of it aswell. I'm hoping she turns out to be a really dark Tangerine.
I picked her, because out of all the rest (believe it or not, they were all housed separately), the tank she was in had the most droppings in it, so i know that she has a good appetite, and is atleast eating well. I've got her housed alone rite now for a quarantine, and will bring her to do a fecal exam and all that in about a month or so, just to make sure she has a clean bill of health.
Any given rate, I have appropriately named her "Mocha". She weighs in at 9 grams, so I'm estimating her hatch date around 3/10 or so.
