In Ron Tremper's book there is a few pictures of ones he had, but they were lost in an accident.

In his new book I take it? I'd like some pics of those. I really need to buy some of these new leo books.

I don't think it would be possible. The ruby red eyes would mean it is albino. So if it was albino it would lack black pigment, so then the gecko wouldn't be black....right?

But yeah I would love a solid black gecko with solid black eyes.

does any one know what kind of accident it was that caused the death of Trempers geckos?

Could poss be done with the Enigmas eye, since that may be an ocular albino.

If I had it I'd breed it to those really dark snows... That should get rid of the yellow pigment and let the pure black stay. Just a thought, be cool to try.

The Dark Leopard looks like "Blackie". The owner is a Swedish girl...
Blackie is on her 7:th year now and has been breed this year for the first time! I think that only one egg was ok...and the ofspring is unfortunally not dark, looks like a "normal".
If I remember right she was breed to her brother who looks normal...

Blackie is first generation after wild caught Afganicus...
It´s a little pitty that they didn´t start breed on her when she was younger...

There was another European person with one darker than that. It was called Black Velvet. I wish I could remember the site...

Here is the other pic they posted. Pretty cool looking Leopard!

My fault I think her name is Blackie, and they would be calling her a Black Velvet (morph)
