This is my Leo. She likes to climb on her humidity hide and track her sphagnum moss behind her. I would like to get a male Leo in the near future (I'm actually keeping an eye open for one now) as a mate.

Would you recommend waiting 'til she's fully grown and getting another adult or just add a second Gecko now if find one I like a lot? Also... at her size, can I go ahead and get an adult or stick with another juvenile?

I was also told that she is a Super Hypo Tangerine... these seems to be true, but she doesn't have much of a carrot tail yet. Any ideas?

I thought a carrot tail is defined as having no black spots and at least 25% orange. She has quite a bit of orange, but black spots.

She is a very pretty gecko! If you want to get her a male mate, wait until she is about 60 grams or over 8 months old. She's still a little bit small for a male. Get one about her size and age, I would say. Bigger and stronger animals can bully weaker ones. Also, if you get a male for her, he WILL breed her and pester her, so before you put him in with her after 1-3 months of quarantine, you need to make sure she is ovulating, so she doesn't refuse him and they cause each other ugly bite wounds.

If you want to get her a female cage mate, you can do so right now and get one about her size. Just have a spare tank ready (you can use the quarantine tank), in case they don't get along and you have to separate them!! One always needs to be prepared for this situation.

That depends, if the spots on her back fade out as she grows up then no. If they stay, then yes, and she'd just be a Hypo Tangerine. Super Hypo = no spots on body/back.
